Choosing the right antenna for the job is not always an easy task. When constructing antennas for wireless networks it is often favorable to suppress side and backlobes. This is to avoid picking up interference from adjacent stations and also to avoid interfering with others. We strive to offer far better control of the radiation pattern than any of our competitors. All antennas leaving the production facilities in Kalmar, Sweden, are tested. This is done using a network analyser measuring return loss, which ensures that ALL products are fully functional when shipped to our customers and that we keep monitoring changes in materials while improving production methods.
Random samples are picked for a more thorough test, where we measure gain, radiation pattern and efficiency at our outdoor measurement range.
Mechanical tests are also conducted to check adhesion in tapes and glues. Drop tests and other types of physical loading is done to confirm resistance to external force.
The result - Antennas to be trusted.
