History - Smarteq is a Swedish company founded in 1996. The company is focused on developing and supplying high-quality antennas and antenna systems for communication between vehicles; Automotive, machine-to-machine; M2M, and wireless transfer of voice and data; Mobile Communications. The company has amassed an extensive experience and high competence in antenna technology through the acquisition of the antenna companies Carant AB, Allgon Automotive Division and Svenska Antennspecialisten AB.

This will be achieved by providing a high technical competence in RF-technology, electronics and mechanics. To be able to verify antenna characteristics Smarteq uses a modern laboratory with a range of simulation and environmental testing equipment.
Smarteq shall participate in national projects together with representatives from the industry, appropriate colleges and universities. Smarteq is a part of the Industry and Trade Council in the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. We always strive to design antennas that are as environmentally friendly as possible both in the production process as well as when they are being scrapped.
Smarteq register patents and design rights on all unique antenna concepts the company develops. Smarteq adapt and tailor-make antennas to customer needs in close co-operation with selected key customers. Smarteq has a highly developed cost effective “Supply Chain" ranging all the way from the company´s production partners to the end customer. Smarteqs management system for designing and producing antennas and antenna concepts are certified according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
The name Smarteq should be associated with responsiveness, sensitiveness, long-term thinking, determination, competence and commitment.
