Smarteq is a well established antenna supplier to the automotive industry. The antennas we supply function on AM/FM, GSM and GPS. Our GPS antennas can track and trace vehicles, as well as, assist the driver on navigation and positioning. To heavy truck manufacturers like Volvo Trucks and Scania we deliver external antennas. Trucks can have up to 14 external antennas fitted. To cars we mostly deliver integrated concealed multifunctional antennas. These are technically much more advanced as they are able to full fill several communication needs. Our concealed multifunction antennas are standard features on luxury cars like Bentley Motors and selected Volkswagen models, however, in future we believe that most cars will have them fitted.
Smarteq also develop concealed antennas to the automotive industry that use the American radio satellite service; Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS).
Communication solutions are becoming more and more complex in the automotive industry and there is a strong trend towards integrated complete antenna systems.
